25 May to Fort McAllister State Park – another beautiful day in Paradise!

Late start this am while we sorted out where we should go for the next few days.   We crossed over the State line to Georgia and it was my vote to stay in a State Park, a) ‘cos it’s much cheaper and b) we might see some animals!  Chose Fort McAllister which is just south of Savannah. It’s beautiful here, surrounded by trees and it’s very quiet.  Went for a bike ride on one of the trails and saw signs indicating there are bears, racoons and bats in the area, hope we get to see some!

Cooked outside in our electric frypan, worked very well, good idea team!
