August 18, Tuesday Indiana

Saw more deer yesterday evening and again this morning.  We had rain during the night and it is grey today, makes a change!  So we get on the Interstate and head for Indiana.  Find a camp on the southern outskirts of Indianapolis and getting there we drive right past the Indianapolis Speedway.  We pull into the carpark and have a look around.  One of the buildings is unlocked so we get up to fourth level where we can look down on part of the circuit.  It’s a shame we couldn’t be here last weekend for the race meeting but it’s still pretty cool to be standing on this hallowed ground!
